A Valentine's Day Gift: for that SPECIAL someone
Sometimes you just don't know what to get that particular someone. But, now you can show your appreciation for that special cannabis lover in your life by giving them KushKards. These are awesome cards with catchy phrases that are uniquely designed to hold any "pre rolled item" .
The cards include matches and it even comes with a strip at the bottom to use for striking. This is the evolution in sending and gifting greeting cards. Lauren Miele is an FIT Alumna and the creator. We've chatted about the cannabis market, her move to Denver and what inspired her to create a fun personalized twist on greeting cards.
The idea came around in December 2013, Lauren at the time was a designer for a company that sold products to bulk retail sellers.
"I've learned everything I had to learn ( in the corporate design industry) while still growing my business."
But she found her niche while attempting to send a traditional Hallmark card with a little something special (wink,wink). Unfortunately trying to attach this made it presentably unattractive. So after creating her own card design she reached out to a collage friend and they came up with the name Kush Kards.
Every Kush Kard has a story behind it and as Lauren continued to create custom cards her friends continued buying them. At that point she knew these "Kards" were something amazing. As she devoted more time into her brand the goal for Kush Kards was to be mass market produced.
She went to Colorado and acquired a sale from a dispensary and more opportunities started rolling in. She's been featured in High Times Magazine, Huffing Post, Buzzfeed and that's just to name a few.
