Mar 3 New York Fashion Week: Tracy Reese RTW Fall 2017

I received great news during New York Fashion Week!

My good friend Ghaze also known as Bertyn Cayard was invited as photographer/press for the Tracy Reese (Ready To Wear) Fall 2017 Fashion Show. It was a privilege to be able to ask him to give me the scoop about his exclusive experience:

"One of my clients that I've worked with in the past contacted me about a job to work with Cantu at the Tracy Reese Fashion Show. It was my first time working in a fashion show so I was really excited. It was chaotic back stage, everyone running around, lots of excitement, and stylists. I was there, just capturing every moment of it all."

"At first I thought this was going to be a traditional runway fashion show. I was completely wrong, it was three floors that had a few models in each room with someone reading poetry out loud while the guest were enamored by the models, clothing and decors esthetics. What I really loved about this type of fashion presentation was that each outfit complemented the rooms the models were in. The rooms were nicely decorated but it didn't take away the attention from the clothing and incredible designs. Everything flowed together and it was pleasing to the eyes. It was really enjoyable to be able to work at a show that didn't take the traditional route, especially for it being my first fashion show. I've realized that working in this type of (fashion) show is no joke. I believe I was one out of three other videographers that attended. I learned that if anything goes wrong the stress levels will go off the roof. Also, you have to be on your "A" game because there are other photographers there, that are."
