SFF: Hollywood Nights

Sff YouthFEST is apart of the film festival each year. It's a  kid and family friendly segment of films free for kids ages 12 and under!  

Hollywood Nights is focused around the students participation in the Sarasota Film Festival education programs. The event was held at Regal Cinemas Hollywood 20, complete with lively music, red carpet ready, velvet ropes, with press waiting to capture this mini soiree between peers in front of the theater. This event features screenings from up and coming local filmmakers in Elementary, Middle, and High School. These students are provided an opportunity to showcase these films at the SFF while competing for awards. I have to say I really enjoyed the animation portion in Program 1 of Hollywood Nights. 

These students were full of passion for the arts and film. It's very encouraging seeing young adults putting in the hard work at a young age, to thrive within their craft. I'm a big believer in providing kids a platform to showcase their work and express themselves as creatives.
